A Comparative Study of Environmental Protection Principles in Islam and Christianity

Abstract

Environmental protection is one of the most pressing issues facing humanity today. The environmental crises the world is witnessing are largely the result of human misuse of nature and its resources. Since a significant proportion of the global population follows either Islam or Christianity, this research article examines the teachings of these two religions regarding environmental protection. It highlights that both Islam and Christianity emphasize human responsibility toward safeguarding the environment and preserving natural resources.
