1. Peer Review Policy

AL-USWA Research Journal follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and quality control.

  • Review Mechanism: Every submitted manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

  • Reviewer Selection: Each article is sent to one national and one international reviewer, both of whom are experts in the relevant field of Islamic Studies or Arabic Literature.

  • Confidentiality: To maintain objectivity, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process.

  • HEC Compliance: All review procedures strictly adhere to the rules and regulations formulated by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

To be considered for publication, all articles must meet the following criteria:

  • Originality: Articles must be original, unpublished, and represent a significant contribution to existing knowledge.

  • Exclusivity: The research paper must not be under consideration for publication by any other journal or platform.

  • Scope: Submissions must strictly fall within the specialized domains of Islamic Studies and Arabic Literature.

3. Editorial Board Rights & Decisions

  • Final Decision: The Editorial Board reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of any article based on the reviewers' recommendations.

  • Editing & Formatting: AL-USWA reserves the right to perform necessary editing, including additions, deletions, or structural changes, to align the paper with the journal’s formatting standards and linguistic clarity.

  • Ownership of Manuscripts: Once received, articles become the property of Al-Manhal. Manuscripts will not be returned to the authors, regardless of whether they are published or not.
