Youth Social Challenges: A Prophetic Approach to Solutions

Abstract

This study aims to the major social challenges and problems that youth face in the contemporary world and examines the Prophetic approach in addressing these issues and challenges. The importance of the topic lies in the vital role of youth as the pillars of society and the driving force and main engine behind its development, growth and progress.

The research points out the difficuties and challenges that affect both the present state and the future of the Muslim Ummah. It also emphasizes on how the prophet ﷺraised the younger generation by strengthening their faith, teaching sincerity, encouraging obedience to Allah, developing high moral values and the Same time, he cautioned them reprehensible morals, corruption and the temptations of modern life.

The research used a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing the prophet's texts, extracting the guidance from them and connecting that guidance to contemporary reality. The Study concluded that the Prophetic Sunnah offers practical and workable solutions for all social Problems by embedding strong ethical values, strengthening faith in hearts and souls, and channeling the youth capabilities, energies and potential of youth toward growth and building the strongest Islamic community.
